Saturday , 30th June It was a hectic long day. Kick started my day around 7.30 morning, and my driving branch manager fetched me from home at 8.00 morning. Reached Metro Academy at Kampung Subang around 8.30 morning and commenced my usual boring lesson with another instructor, which I claimed to be better than my previous ones. My lesson ended around 10.35 morning, and waited till 11.00 morning to be sent home. I was in a rush. Reach home approximately 11.25 morning, and had to immediately settle some very important, a matter of my future's doccumentation with my parents. Around 11.35 morning, I took a short bath, and dressed up. My plan to use my newly bought dabbed on eye shadow had to be forgotten. There's simply not enough time to dress up as Ian was to pick me at 11.45 morning. Left my face bare without make up, lip gloss, and exposing my mushrooming pimples! Well, Malaysian timing, Ian picked me up at 11.55, and headed to Nikko Hotel, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur to celebrate is 18th birthday. The journey took about half an hour. We used the SMART tunnel. Nothing really cool, like described in the newspaper! The buffet at Nikko, was rather disappointing. Lack of varieties and specialties. I prefer Hilton's and Sunway's Hi Tea buffet, though I went there so many times. Nevertheless, the ambience was luxurious. I saw Ian's mom carrying an Louis Vuitton bag. Cool eh? Kinda felt intimidated. Everyone was carrying branded things, a stress I endure when hanging out with my SU-good friends. Chern Hwei bought a new Guess handbag, while Ching Mei was using her usual Guess paired with her Rm2000+ CYMA watch. Well, Ian like usual, equipped with brands all over, Tissot watch and all. I feel poor. Jessica is another rich kid! Yeah, being a green eyed monster, that was why I purchased a PDA, instead of a phone. To be on par with them. At least, my phone's the coolest now :) Of course, I would have to use this phone for at least 3 years! Ian's mom sarcastically told me that handphones are like toys for children this days. I feel offended as Ian and I we're using the same phone. Offensive statement. After the buffet trivia, we walked to KLCC, where I pokai in front of MCA building. Luckily I didn't tear my Tommy HIlfiger. I have already torn my jeans at Oldtown Kopitiam when I pokai at the slope. Haih, I'm not as lucky as Jessica, she's got her boy friend to hold her tight and safely. Wandered at KLCC for 2 hours plus. Roxy had great bargain. But I was broke, Thanks to the hefty priced present I paid for. Took LRT back home to Kelana Jaya, and then Ian drove me home. Then, my family went to Kelana Jaya for dinner! Aiyoh. Ended the day with eating durians.
July, Sunday Passed my pre-test, easily. But the waiting period was horribly long. Boring! I nearly fell asleep so many times! Performed so much better than my usual lessons. Changed from gear 2 to three, smoothly. I was so relaxed. My bukit was okay, took few seconds to go over it. Parking I took a minute, and three point turn less than a minute. Was confident that I could pass my JPJ driving test at one go.
July, Monday Was a sickening day. Hate to be reminded about the incident that made me so pathetic today. IT's just super agitating when memories of how I'm forced to be my brothers' free labour- doing their art work or kemahiran hidup projects. Forced to spent an hour drawing Adam's Merdeka Project. It's so irritationg when they expect me to do soemthing for them so last minute, I'd test the next day. Sucks. GOt scoldings from mom, claiming that my partial deafness is not caused by Ivan. Right. Whatever. nasib perempuan.
July, Tuesday Planned to ponteng General Paper class. For the first time I wanted to ponteng, and the plan failed. Hsueh Li messaged me, asking me to enter the class immediately as someone saw me in college. I thought it was Adeline who backstabbed me, but it wasn't, THANKFULLY. Wouldn't want to experience those terrible times then. But, I really felt bad of having ill feelings towards her at that point of time. It was Tasha who told Ms Joy about my presence, when Ms Joy asked about me. Ms Joy questioned me! OMG. There were about 5 others who came at 9.00 am, and she acted as if she didn't see them. My crappy reason was, I lost my maths text book in the library and had to claim for it. Rite.
July, Thursday Driving test day. We were all separated into different groups, with colour names like Hijau, Kuning and Putih. Whites are for the resits, and I was arranged into Green. Green group, we were suppose to do our slope, parking and three point turn. Guess what? I was conned :) I managed to peak the slope. And, the JPJ lady confusingly signalled me to reversed back. When I smartly but hessitatingly did, I failed =D I pass on the road. Though the friendly nice jpj lady told me my face expressed signs of nervousness.
