Luck
My O2 XDA is perfectly fine!!!!
My suey-ness is slowly departing from me, after clinging on me for eight years. The new people I meet nowadays are kinder, and more truthful. I no longer emit that "hateful aura" to people, I think I'm quite well liked nowadays! Although there are still hicoughs here and there, I'm glad that I'm happier each day now. The best of all, my new handphone now it's 5 weeks old, when it was only 17 days old, it was "drowned". I'd my O2 Xda inside a small bag, in my sling bag. Inside my sling bag, I'd my 900ml tumbler. I'd always been putting my water tumbler and my phone, wallet all together inside. One unluckday day in mid July, I was very distracted over some issue, and the next day at college, I fell asleep during Maths class. My sling bag was at my lap. It fell. And instantly, I became 'awake'. To my horror, my new O2 Xda was drowned inside my water-proof sling bag. Immediately, I picked up my phone, left it on the table, took out the battery, and memory card. It was already too late. The whole 2.5 inch screen was flooded with water, but the lights were still on. Thank Goodness, Jyesze was there to help me to clear the mess. I'd to take out everything from my bag, and went out to pour the water into the drain. This happened around 9.50, during Maths class. I immediately phoned Mom, asking her to pick me up at ten, during my break. I went home, blew dry my phone, and other papers, patiently with a hair dryer. It was of no use. I could not get rid of the water in my phone. Surprisingly, I was not even unhappy, as I have already digested the fact that I'm one of the most unlucky person in Bandar Sunway. (This is a normative statement! Haha) I waited till at night, then I braved myself to insert the battery onto my O2 Xda. I prayed to my phone, I know it's riddiculous, but I was really afraid that it couldn't work. If it was spoilt, I don't think I will get scolding, as dad paid for my phone. Dad is a less grumpy person. But, I know for sure, I will not get another new handset of my own choice. Then, it will be like what Mrs Kok equate, "Phone = Toy", I'm still agitated over her statement. Because, I treat my phone like my treasure. My hand was trembling when I held the battery up. I murmured to myself, trying to coax myself to accept the truth, if Xda died off due to my carelessness. When the battery was positioned, I turned on the screen. I could feel the blood rushing to my cheeks when I saw the O2's trade mark oxygen-bubble-lookalike thing floating around the start up screen. I wasthen still praying, hoping that my phone won't explore, and still workable. After the startup message, I tried sms-ing, using the Windows Media Player, experimenting the Bluetooth, camera and etc. My heart leapt with joy when it is working like previously. The only difference is, there's a lot of dust beneath my screen protector. I did not stick it well. Immediately I called up Ian, and thank my friend for convincing that the conventional method works. It was a good happy day =D
